If you intend to do anything on the internet regarding building a website, there's a steadfast rule that is touted by all the SEO experts, including our SEO expert in Amsterdam: quality is far better than quantity. Forget about doing something a lot; instead, focus on getting it right enough of the time. As an example of this, forget about pushing out new content on a daily basis. Rather, get good quality content out on a weekly or even monthly basis. It is what Google cares about – not quantity but quality. When Google launched the Panda algorithm in February 2011, it impressed us that it wanted quality concerning user experience. However, the key to Google's achievements was to search for poor quality regarding user experience, or websites that had the intention of garnering traffic. After which, those sites would push visitors in a deceitful way through an individual means to buy a product or purchase a service via an affiliate link. Either that or to bombard site visitors with a ton of advertising. It was plain to see that Google wasn't content with those practices, and for good reason because it negates the user experience which impacts Google's search negatively. Google wasn't happy about this practice then, and it is not happy about it now, nor will it be happy about it at a future date. As the internet grows with age, Google will continue to pursue an increase in overall quality, not just regarding its search engine, but also concerning the information that is available online. Google has devised these rules very cleverly, together with the variety of ranking factors in so much that it will ensure that, over time, quality will improve. Regardless of the SEO strategy that you wish to employ, and no matter what sort of link building you use, you need to make sure that everything is about quality and not about quantity. Avoid using link-generating software; don't be tempted to rely on article spinners, and don't bother using anything else that reduces quality – not if you are serious regarding achieving at least a respectable rank within Google's search results. Instead, you should put in the time and put in the work, and always focus on quality rather than quantity. One of the openers to achieving this is to push out high-quality content as often as you can. As mentioned, that does not mean that you have to labor on fresh content every day. It doesn't even mean that you have to work on new content twice a week and just as often as you can. This way, you'll find that your website outranks other sites that have more authority and more age because of the underlying quality of your content.
