How Enzymes Can Slow, Stop or Even Reverse the Signs of Aging Scientists have discovered an enzyme called telomerase that can help to slow, stop, or reverse the signs of aging. This works by rebuilding the telomere length, which is what protects the ends of DNA strands. As people age, the length of the telomere shortens, and cells begin to age. However, using telomerase can help rebuild the telomere length, which helps to slow the signs of aging in the cells inside the body. Done properly, this can also help stop the signs of aging and, in some cases, help reverse them. What Does Telomerase Do? When telomerase is activated in the body, it helps rebuild telomere in the body, increasing its length, which can help stop cells from aging. It also helps cells live longer while continuing to function correctly and can enable old cells to function the way they did when they were younger. The effects of this are similar to the anti-aging effects when someone stops smoking, loses weight, exercises more, and starts to eat a healthier diet. The body doesn’t age the same amount every year, so someone’s biological age can be very different from their chronological age. One of the ways to measure the person’s biological age is to look at their telomere length. If the telomere length is getting shorter, it can accelerate aging on a cellular level throughout the body. However, telomerase can help stop the telomere shortening, which can slow down the natural aging process. It can possibly also reverse aging and help reverse the damage done to the telomere through lifestyle choices. Cycloastragenol Cycloastragenol is a compound that is extracted from organic Astragalus roots, and that has shown promise in clinical research. Studies have shown that this compound can help activate telomerase in the body, which can help stop the shortening of the telomeres in the body. When Cycloastragenol is used, it can activate DNA synthesis. This is how telomeres can be elongated to help make cells live longer and function properly. These enzymes can help keep cells younger for a much longer time frame, helping to slow the signs of aging because of the ability to reduce the shortening of telomeres. CA-98 CA-98 is based on the highest quality Cycloastragenol available from Astragalus roots and uses a unique formula that has been designed to help the Cycloastragenol work properly. CA-98’s Cycloastragenol (CA) has been discovered to be supporting DNA synthesis and therefore telomerase activation. Is CA-98 the fountain of youth? References: Sahin E, DePinho RA.
